| Nature is never at rest. It is the very essence of nature
and of the universe to be in motion. Some motion is slow.
Like the growth of mountain grass or the expansion of
the universe. Some motion is fast. Like a rushing stream
or the cosmic furnance that is the sun. |
| |
| I gaze at Pomery Lake and I cannot see it move. Often
times you must get real close to see the movement of those
things that favor slow motion. I come down off of my perch
that is overlooking the lake and walk right to the shore
of the lake. Nothing. No movement can I see. |
| |
| I know where the lake ends and know where the stream
begins and know that a huge field of rocks separates the
two. Obviously, the lake is draining through the rocks
- time to follow the stream. |
