Lost Park is a beautiful area about one and a half hours from the ranch. There are lots of large round boulders, or should I say hills - they are so big.

This shot is sunset at lost park on a warm February evening.
Dateline: April 2, 1999. This is JR, our resident spirit guide by our tent. As you can see, the snow is falling all around us - we got 6 inches of snow that day. After this picture was shot, JR led our expedition through the driving snow to the edge of a cliff.
Here is one of our ranch wagons. Been out on the trail all day so we decided to pull over at this spot for the evening. Time to set up the tent and get a fire going. The sun goes down quickly in the mountains and its already getting late.
An early spring snow across the trees. This tree is on the cliff that JR took us to that day. The snow was over 2 feet deep at points and we couldn't get much further, so we turned around and headed back to the base camp.
